Who says play stops the moment you grow up?

Learn to move freely and independently with our Parkour Seniors class, for ages 50 and above! (If you're 45+, we welcome you too!)

"Why learn parkour at this age?"

  1. Improve your mobility, agility, flexbility and coordination
    Parkour focuses on many things like balancing, climbing, jumping and landing, and balancing! All of which helps seniors improve overall mobility and flexbility.

  2. Learn to fall safely
    What goes up, must come down. In parkour, not only do we learn a lot about jumping, but also how to land safely to minimize impact from important joints. Dissipating impact properly is a key focus of parkour. Many seniors do not know how to break falls, which can be a life-altering experience.

  3. Increase strength and muscle tone
    Parkour classes can help seniors build and maintain healthy joints, muscular strength particularly in the legs, core and upper body - muscle groups crucial for balance and stability!

  4. Mental Stimulation
    Learning parkour movements is a great source of mental stimulation, as it involves focus and coordination from practitioners. This is an great for maintaining cognitive health as we age!

  5. Social Interaction
    Parkour itself may be a physical sport, but classes are always very social! Lion City Parkour classes are particularly known for being a very wholesome community with loads of opportunities for social interaction and community engagement.

Suitable for: Absolute Beginners, 50+

Before Attending A Class:
  1. Have the waiver form in your account signed.
  2. Arrive 10 min early to allow for time to find the venue and have your attendance taken.
  3. Be dressed in comfortable attire, bring at least 750 ml of water, and extra clothes to change into if needed.

24-Hour Cancellation Policy
  1. Class reservations can only be made up to 120 days in advance.
  2. To avoid losing your class credit, cancel your reservation at least 24 hours before the scheduled class time. Any cancellation less than 24 hours to class, or no shows, will result in the forfeit of your class credit.

Absence due to Illness or Personal Emergencies
If you do not show up for class due to illness or personal emergencies, you may still get your class credit back into your account:

  • Illness - Within 72 hours after your reserved class time slot, send a photo of a valid medical certificate to us.

Latecomers Policy
We understand that stuff happens, and for reasons beyond your control, you may turn up late for class. To be fair to everyone, we have a 15 min grace period for latecomers, after which you may not be allowed to join the class.

Class Cancellation or Rescheduling by Lion City Parkour
  1. The class may be cancelled in the unlikely event that the coach falls sick and no substitute coach is available at the last minute. If this happens, you will be notified via email and/or WhatsApp as soon as possible, and rest assured, a makeup class will be discussed with the Course participants, and your class credit will remain in your account.
  2. Lion City Parkour reserves the rights to reschedule the class and provide at least 24 hours notice via email and/or WhatsApp.
